I am a painter living in the Appalachian foothills of northeast Alabama. The purpose of this Blogger website is to present a series of "patchwork" art pieces that I make for children. I use cotton fabric for the color medium, and assemble the cut pieces on canvas, varnish thoroughly, and mount them on wooden panels. The artwork comes ready to hang.
Most of the mounted and finished pieces measure around 12 to 14 inches square.
Some are on a smaller scale - around 6 inches to a side.
